Why can't I switch the video quality when casting to a CAFv3 receiver?

When running eg. the BasicCasting Android Sample app (using the default CAFv3 receiver), I’m observing that the Bitmovin UI doesn’t offer quality switching. When casting is stopped, the Video Quality field reappears.

Player version : 3.16.0

Is there a technical limitation there or would there be a new feature ?
Same question for the Web player.

Setting and receiving video (and audio) qualities for CAF is not supported currently on the Android Player SDK. So this would be a new feature request.

This will be a very desirable feature. Apologies for my ignorance, What’s the best place to register interest for this feature?
