While using Bitmovin in WordPress I’ve found that copy/pasting the streaming script into the default Wordpress template wysiwyg causes the player to show correctly on the page. However, swapping to a custom template using a wysiwyg generated using ACF the_field the player will not show at all. A quick inspection shows it seems it is never reaching the DOM tree. This goes for both the script and iframe methods.
Any ideas as to the cause? Installing the Bitmoving Wordpress plugin had no effect.
As the Streams player functions correctly in the default template, I can only assume you have a configuration issue when using ACF/the_field. As I’m sure you’ll understand, It’s a bit out of scope for us to provide support for this.
