in general for bitmovin, does bitmovin use the native browser video tag player in safari or does its own MSE or is it by content type?
i was wondering for .ts fairplay does bitmovin use its own transmuxer/eme implementation or rely on the native video player for drm content?

Thanks for your question. The Bitmovin Player uses the Safari native player by default on macOS and iOS. You can override this with preferredTech (PlaybackConfig | Bitmovin Player API 8.182.0)
