React Native, Android, Picture in Picture

Current behavior

  • Play a video
  • Stop video
  • Exit app
  • The app shows up in an small square like picture in picture, even when there is no video playing.

Expected behavior

  • Play a video
  • Stop video
  • Exit app
  • See no picture in picture square.

I have latest version from Bitmovin SDK 0.15.0

This only happens in Android devices.

Has anyone experienced something like this ?

This issue has been fixed in this PR: Fix PiP inconsistencies on Android by zigavehovec · Pull Request #424 · bitmovin/bitmovin-player-react-native · GitHub

The fix will be included in the next release - scheduled for the beginning next week.
