IllegalStateException comes while playing VOD or Live content suddenly in between playback

Hi Bitmovin support team,

With the latest SDK 3.38.1, IllegalStateException comes while playing VOD or Live content suddenly in between playback. Attached error screenshot.

Reproducibility is 3/5.
Any suggestion about this issue?

Thanks for reporting this. To discard any issue originated at your app implementation level, could you please confirm whether the IllegalStateException is reproducible via any of our sample apps? Such as this one: bitmovin-player-android-samples/BasicPlayback at main · bitmovin/bitmovin-player-android-samples · GitHub

Also, on the sample app above, can you reproduce the problem when replacing the default streams with your own?

What was the latest SDK version known to work well on your app without any IllegalStateException being thrown?
