I’m seeing issues with some signed URLs as well as captions/subtitles.

As many of you probably know Apple introduced the ability to AirPlay to MacBooks with MacOS Monterey.
However, AirPlaying to MacBooks is not 100% compatible with how things work when AirPlaying to actual AppleTV devices. We have seen reports about issues with some signed URLs as well as captions/subtitles. These issues are not limited to the Bitmovin player and are rooted in how AirPlay works a bit differently when a MacBook is the target device. This is being investigated, but because the actual AirPlay handling is done by Apple libraries and the operating system(s) we might be limited in what we can do to address those issues. For now the only officially supported target device for AirPlay is AppleTV, as documented here: Bitmovin Docs - Player | Device and Cross Browser Support
