Hey guys,
we noticed that our adbreaks take over the playback-speed of the video they are embedded in.
So watching a video at a different speed leads to (some) ads being played at that speed as well.
To reproduce:
- go to our Demo (vmap scheduled ads)
- select 2x playback-speed
- start the video (2 pre-rolls)
- seek somewhere past 50% (for the mid-roll)
You’ll see the first preroll be played at 2x, the second one normally
The mid-roll will be played at 2x as well
Expected Behaviour
Ads are played at regular speed irrespectively of what is set for the video
