It would be awesome to support notification media controls on iOS and Android. Currently, I am using a combination of Bitmovin with react-native-track-player to have lock screen media controls.

Thanks for registering your feature request.
We don’t currently have a proper solution for this in the native SDKs so something we’d have to address there before we add into the React Native bridge. This isn’t currently on the roadmap so we’ll keep you updated if it gets prioritised.
On Android, there is something close in the form of PlayerNotificationManager in the following sample, but we’ll want to add better support as part of the migration to JetPack Media3.
