We’re excited to announce that a brand-new major version of our Bitmovin Player UI is on the way!
Get ready for a new, stunning, modern design. This exciting update features a new icon redesigned and a new highly flexible Settings Panel, making it easier for your users to navigate and customize their playback.
The mobile version has received an overhaul, now including popular features such as double-tap to skip forward or backward, and the ability to hide and reveal on touch.
We’re launching the new UI on GitHub later this month and will make it the default across all platforms by the end of January 2026. Everyone can opt in as soon as it’s available.
