We’ve been hard at work the past few months on one of the community’s biggest requests: An official Player SDK for the React Native framework.
It took us some time to ensure this initial version took advantage from the beginning of all the latest best practices in the RN ecosystem and provided the flexibility React Native developers came to expect, while not staying behind in quality to our native iOS and Android SDKs.
In addition, we know the flexibility from using React Native with JavaScript or TypeScript is largely thanks to its wide Open Source community. Naturally, we’re making the Bitmovin Player for React Native Open Source and will be welcoming your feedback and contributions through GitHub!
