In case you missed it, as of Bitmovin Encoder version 2.187.0, AV1 encoding with fMP4 and HLS is now supported. This can be also be used together with FairPlay content protection so you can take full advantage of Apple’s AV1 support on the iPhone 15 Pro and new laptops with the M3 processor.
