# Seek Event Handler Not working For Live Stream

player.on(bitmovin.player.PlayerEvent.Seek, function(seekEvent) {}

player.on(bitmovin.player.PlayerEvent.Seeked, function(seekEvent) {}

```

Above events are nor working in case of LIVE stream Yes these are working for VOD but not for LIVE.  
What should i do?

Hi @farhan.anees,

As listed in the [documentation for the Seek event](https://cdn.bitmovin.com/player/web/8/docs/enums/Core.PlayerEvent.html#Seek), the [TimeShift](https://cdn.bitmovin.com/player/web/8/docs/enums/Core.PlayerEvent.html#TimeShift) event should be used instead. Similarly, the equivalent for the [Seeked event](https://cdn.bitmovin.com/player/web/8/docs/enums/Core.PlayerEvent.html#Seeked) is the [TimeShifted event](https://cdn.bitmovin.com/player/web/8/docs/enums/Core.PlayerEvent.html#TimeShifted).
