# renewLicense API support for FairPlay DRM in Bitmovin Player

Hi,

As described in [this API document](https://bitmovin.com/docs/player/api-reference/web/web-sdk-api-reference-v8#/player/web/8/docs/interfaces/core.drmapi.html#renewlicense), the current ‘renewLicense’ API supports PlayReady only.  
We need FairPlay support as well to enable license renewal for all three multi-DRM.

Please consider adding this feature to your roadmap in a near future.  
If would be great if I can get the expected timeline.

Hey @daniel1 thanks for making this request. We prioritise our roadmap based on demand for each feature and to help with that, I’ve flagged your request against the feature we’re tracking: _DRM License Renewal including FairPlay DRM_.

Currently, we don’t have a timeline for this feature but should we prioritise it onto our roadmap we will update you.
