The Bitmovin Player and Analytics iOS SDKs are now published on the official [CocoaPods](https://cocoapods.org/) Trunk repository. Moving forward, no further releases will be published on our [custom spec repository](https://github.com/bitmovin/cocoapod-specs/).

### Affected versions

These are the latest versions published on our custom repository. All upcoming releases will be available on Trunk instead:

- [BitmovinPlayer](https://github.com/bitmovin/player-ios) version `3.77.0`
- [BitmovinPlayerCore](https://github.com/bitmovin/player-ios-core) version `3.77.0`
- [BitmovinAnalyticsCollector](https://github.com/bitmovin/bitmovin-analytics-collector-ios) version `3.8.1`

### What Changes for Users

You no longer need to add our custom repository as a source, which simplifies the integration process. Now, adding our packages is as simple as including a single line in your `Podfile`:

```ruby
pod 'BitmovinPlayer', 'Version Number'
```

### How to Update your App

If you’re updating to a newer version that is no longer hosted on our custom repository (see the **Affected Versions** section above), you can remove the following line from your `Podfile`:

```diff
- source 'https://github.com/bitmovin/cocoapod-specs.git'
pod 'BitmovinPlayer', 'Version Number'
```

⚠ **Troubleshooting**

If you encounter issues with the specifications not being found, explicitly add the CocoaPods CDN source in your `Podfile`:

```ruby
source 'https://cdn.cocoapods.org'
```
