Hello,

As suggested in this [post](https://community.bitmovin.com/t/access-manifest-with-android-sdk/2639/3) I’m opening a feature request so that `PeriodSwitch` and other event related to it would be added to the Android SDK.

I’m happy to report that this feature is primed to be released within the next few weeks. We’ll follow up in the original post when it’s available in the Bitmovin Player.

Hi @obadia.yoni, happy to announce that the [SourceEvent.PeriodChanged](https://cdn.bitmovin.com/player/android/3/docs/player-core/com.bitmovin.player.api.event/-source-event/-period-changed/index.html) event is now also available on Android since version [3.61.0](https://developer.bitmovin.com/playback/docs/release-notes-android#3610). The naming is slightly different on Android to better fit into the existing event landscape and the playlist architecture but the timing is - for a single source use case - very similar to the one on web.
