### Product Encoding - VOD ### Question Hello. There are a few issues we need for our company. Can m3u8 be played only on iOS? Is mpd required for android? Thanks, Berker ---

Hi Berker, Thanks for your post. .m3u8 is the file extension used for HLS and .mpd is used for DASH.
